Angela DunningAngela Dunning, BA - UK

Angela is an Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) practitioner who completed the 2-year Eponaquest Instructor training with Linda Kohanov and Kathleen Barry Ingram in 2007 as well as the LEAP Practitioner (EFP/L) training in 2015. She delivers in-depth personal growth programs for adults, mainly women, wishing to heal from a mind-body split, a lack of authentic self-esteem, a lack of self-trust, as well as develop healthier relationship dynamics as taught by the horses. Her approach focuses on embodiment and on developing subtle self-awareness and self-responsibility. Passionate about improving industry standards and the welfare of horses in personal growth and therapeutic interventions, Angela delivers continuing professional development training to practitioners, supervision, mentoring and consultation services. Due to the mounting concern in recent years about some areas of practice and training, in particular where horses were being used as ‘tools’ or peripheral elements of a mainly human-led process, she wrote the recently self-published book, The Horse Leads the Way: Honoring the True Role of the Horse in Equine Facilitated Practice.
